WoodBridge Ranch’s 4th Annual Driveway Social
Time to stroll and meet the Neighbors in 2011!
It’s time to drink, eat and socialize with the neighbors again! This event continues grow each year as more of our neighbors take the time to come out and visit. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again and hopefully some new faces as well!
Date: Friday, August 19th, 2011
Time: Starts at 6:00 pm
Place: Starting point has yet to be arranged.
Format for the event will be as follows:
We need four volunteers to host a driveway. Each stop will be about an hour, with the first house being 1 ½ hrs. We’d like to have our hosts identified by July 31st for planning purposes. The host can provide a glass of wine, a cold beer, or any other fun cocktail; you decide. Last year we had about 100 attend. Each driveway had about 12 to 13 couples bringing food and drinks to help the host. It was really quite easy. No one family had to do it all. This is supposed to be simple and fun. Just set up a couple of tables and neighbors help bring the food and/or drinks.
Last year there were four driveways and that worked out well! We had lots of time to visit, eat and drink at each driveway So, this year we are looking for 4 volunteers to host. We’d like to walk through both Orangevale and Roseville, as we are all one community. Once we have the 4 host driveways, then we will assign people to each house to bring a munchie or drink. The last house is usually coffee and desserts. Please reserve the evening for this fun event!
